Abbott's Science Programmes for School Children
Abbott are big supporters of Ireland's next generation of scientists through its Family Science programme and Operation Discovery programmes for primary and secondary school children respectively. These programmes developed by the Abbott Fund, see Abbott employees engage students through hands on experiences in science. Abbott won the Best International CSR Programme Award from Chambers Ireland Corporate Social Responsibility Awards. The Tanzania Laboratory Mentorship programme saw three Abbott Ireland employees volunteer in Tanzania for eight weeks, training 60 local staff in the modernised laboratories.See video »
